This Pistol is a Compact Version of the Legendary 75 SP-01!

A great concealed-carry handgun, the CZ 75 Compact 9mm Semi-Auto Pistol features a cold-hammer forged barrel, a steel frame, a polymer grip and fixed sights. The pistol is equipped with a manual safety lever and a double-stack magazine.

The relationship of the CZ-75 Compact to the original CZ-75 is essentially the same as the relationship of the Colt Combat Commander to the original M1911; mechanically it is the same pistol, but with a shorter slide and barrel, making it easier to conceal the pistol when carrying.

In summary, CZ introduced the 75 pistol in 1975 as a semi-automatic weapon. Initially, it was one of the original “wonder nines” and features a staggered-column magazine, all-steel construction, and a hammer forged barrel. It is one of the 20th century’s classic 9mm pistols.Thereafter, CZ distributed the 75 SP-01 and other 75 models  throughout the world. Later, CZ  introduced  other CZ 75 models like the compact version.

CZ Makes Outstanding Pistols!

Initially, CZ firearms production commenced in 1937 and focused on both military and civilian arms. Thereafter, CZ made aircraft machine guns, pistols and small-bore rifles, but during WWII Germany occupied the plant and forced it to produce and repair military arms. Later, the plant returned to military and civilian arm production.

Later, CZ reorganized in 1950 into a separate state enterprise. Subsequently, CZ’s parent group, CZG, acquired a 100-percent stake in the historic Colt’s Manufacturing Company in 2021. Overall, CZ’s experience in outstanding weapons design and its reputation for innovation set the stage for developing the CZ 75 D PCR Compact.
