HK P30LS V3 is a New Pistol

The hammer-fired HK P30LS V3 Pistol was based on the USP9, and was made as a police and security pistol. Consequently, the P30LS has been tested and  has adopted by many European police agencies. HK P30LS can be adapted to any user because it has  a special grip frame with interchangeable backstrap inserts and lateral plates. In addition, the P30 includes ambidextrous controls. For example, there are dual slide releases and magazine release levers. A Picatinny rail molded into the front of the frame makes it very easy to mount lights, laser aimers, and other accessories. The extractor doubles as a loaded chamber indicator. In addition, the HK P30LS V3 Pistol features a double action trigger. Consequently, the first shot cocks and releases the hammer. Subsequently, you need  a lighter single-action pull for subsequent shots.

Features of the HK P30LS V3 Pistol

The HK P30LS V3 included an ambidextrous safety lever mounted on both sides of the frame and includes a conventional double-action/single action trigger and serrated decocking button located on the rear of the frame. Introduced in 2008, the P30L indicates a “lengthened” slide and reflects the fact that the pistol has a longer slide and 4.45” barrel (as opposed to the 3.85” barrel of the P30 models). Notable features of the P30L include enhanced balance and pointability, as well as a recoil assembly that included a floating metal/polymer buffer around the spring that reduces recoil.
